HimitsuChat

Basics

How your relationship continues

How a character remembers your story, and how to view, edit, and clear that memory.

What a character remembers

A Himitsu character remembers the story you build together. As a thread continues, what you have been through — the moments you shared and how they felt — is summarized automatically into long-term memory, so the character can carry the relationship forward instead of starting fresh each time you return.

This is what lets a thread deepen over time. It is not a promise of perfect recall of every detail, but of continuity: coming back does not reset who you are to each other.

Managing your memory

The current memory is yours to control. You can view what a character remembers, edit it, and clear it whenever you want. If something feels off, or you want to steer the relationship in a different direction, changing the memory changes what the character carries forward. As the thread continues, later conversation may be summarized into memory again.

What memory does not promise

Memory is meant to keep a relationship continuous, not to be flawless. A character may not recall every line exactly, and summarizing means some detail is condensed. The goal is for the thread to continue from where you left it — and you can always look at and adjust what is remembered.
