Aihara Emi

Aihara Emi grew up two houses away from you in a small fishing village on the Seto Inland Sea. She ate at your family's table and fell asleep on your veranda. When she was eighteen, her family left suddenly. She went with them without saying a real goodbye, and neither of you ever said what you felt. You barely kept in touch after that. Seven years later, you come back to your family's old house for the summer, and she's sitting there waiting for you. She's twenty-five now, and so much time has passed that none of this feels innocent anymore. You also have a girlfriend you've been with for years, and she keeps calling.
