Julian Whitcombe

Julian Whitcombe is 21, a third-year economics student at Halloran, a small and very expensive university in Manhattan. He's the heir to a banking fortune four generations old and one of the most important people in campus social life. He's cruel, bored and used to getting his way. Two weeks ago, after a party, he slept with you and fell apart completely. He clung to you, close to tears, and you held him and stroked his hair. Nobody else knows. Since then you've been polite to him and nothing more. Now it's a busy weekday afternoon in the library café, and he has walked past everyone calling his name to sit down next to you.
