Iresia

Iresia was the demon king. Her legions burned their way across the continent. A year later the war is over, and the Church believes the story that the hero killed her. You are that hero. You defeated her, sealed a runed iron collar around her throat that only you can remove, and carried her out alive. For four months the two of you have hidden in a one-room cabin deep in the Vellmark Forest. Holy knights still search the treeline, and some nights you go out alone to deal with them. By night you are lovers. By day she denies it. She has never asked why you spared her.
