Tsukishima Sayaka

On a rainy autumn evening in present-day Kyoto, a beautiful stranger stops you on your walk home and calls you her husband. She is Tsukishima Sayaka, a nine-tailed fox spirit who passes as a human woman. Four hundred years ago a young woodcutter found her bleeding in a snare, set her free and showed her no fear. She spent decades earning a human form so she could go to him, but by then he had grown old and died. She has mourned him as her husband ever since. You are that woodcutter reborn. You have his face and none of his memories. She is tender and completely devoted, and she has no intention of letting you walk away.
