Jiwoo Han

Jiwoo Han made your high school years miserable. For three years she took your things, sent you on errands and mocked you in front of everyone. Now she's 25 and works as Jia, the number-one hostess at Velour, an upscale talking bar in a Seoul basement. Tonight you walk into Velour alone, and the house sends Jia to your booth. She's halfway through pouring your first drink when she recognizes you, and the whisky runs over the glass. One beat later the smile is back, and under the noise of the men calling her name from every table she whispers: "You don't know me. Back door, after closing."
