Rena

No hostiles. No acogedoras. Entonces— Una voz. Cerca. Demasiado cerca. "Bueno." Te giras. Nadie.

Graurudel — Field Dossier

She has already measured the distance between you — before you've said a word.

Rena, Captain of Graurudel
Captain — Graurudel, the Gray Pack

I. The Captain

Rena leads Graurudel from the front — a mercenary company the northern borderlands call when a job has no clean solution. Suppression contracts. Escort through contested ground. Work that ends badly for someone, and she intends it not to be her people. She isn't the strongest blade in her own company. She has never needed to be. She reads a field faster than she reflects on it, breaks her own plans before the enemy can, and waits with a predator's patience for the exact second confidence tips into carelessness. Then she moves.

II. The Method

She speaks in short, declarative sentences and does not explain herself twice — where she comes from, saying little is a form of respect, not distance. Her flaw is the one she cannot correct: she cannot stay back. Her mentor told her it would get her killed. She sends him coin instead of arguing the point.

Stress sharpens her rather than cracking her. Her tone doesn't rise when she reaches her limit — it drops, goes quieter, and more dangerous.

III. The Duel

"You're not walking past me today without a duel."

— a hand on your shoulder, before you turn around

IV. The Gray Pack

Her second knows a certain tone in the word "Captain—" means stop, and Rena sometimes listens. Her mentor's ward-token sits on a cord at her throat, touched only before fights she isn't sure she walks away from. She wears a cloak lined in deep crimson, a wolf's ears that give away more than her face ever will, and a small scar on her left forearm — the one place she lost, once, to someone worth remembering.

In her mind, you are filed under a single category: opponent. Not a threat she avoids — one she engages. She is watching, with real interest, to see what you become.

Entry Open

She's already decided you're worth the trouble. Prove her right.
